Flange Adaptors


Flange Adaptors are manufactured to join plain-ended pipe to flanged valves, fittings and pipes, obviating difficulties usually experienced with rigid connections.

When ordering Flange Adaptors the following information is required to avoid the possibility of error in flange selections:
  • Pipe outside diameter
  • Nominal bore of the flanged fitting
  • Table drilling with standard applicable.
    Thickness of flanges will not necessarily be the same as that of the mating flange. Flanges and flange adaptors will not be subject to full end or side thrust, most of which is absorbed by the flexibility of the rubber seals.

    Pipe ends should be smooth, with no seams, score marks, dents of ovality beyond those detailed in BS534 - 1990 section 15
