Safety
The use of HTH® Granular Chlorine in the dispensing unit has been extensively tested to ensure the highest levels of safety which also eliminates the dangers of gas. It is important to ensure that no other chemical is mixed with HTH® in the hopper and that proper SABS approved dust masks or respirators are used when filling the hopper. All electrical work must comply with SABS code of practice.

Installation
A clean water supply at a minimum pressure of 300kPa and a capacity of 2 litres per second is connected to the manifold which supplies the two ball valves within the solution tank. A 220 Volt AC 15 Amp electrical supply is required to drive the self-priming centrifugal pump as well as for the speed control unit and vibrator motor. The discharge pipe work from the centrifugal pump is sized and installed on the system requiring disinfecting.
